The Midlands has a dry, fragile landscape and subject to severe tree and soil erosion because of extensive, modern farming. Now less than 10% of the once dominant native grasslands and woodlands remain.

About The Midlands collection:

Set against the backdrop of the contested pastoral landscape, the Midlands artwork explores various themes such as colonial exploration, land degradation, privilege and whimsy.

About the prints on canvas:

Each canvas is hand-stretched over a kiln-dried timber frame and coated with Aquathane-UV liquid laminate. This ensures the prints are fade-resistant, durable, and easy to clean.
