About the artwork:
Flora’s Wreath (Spring)
In celebration of new life on the land, Flora’s Spring wreath is symbolic of the sun, growth and abundance.
About the Wreath collection:
In Roman mythology, Flora is the goddess of flowers, plants and trees, especially those that produce fruit. Spring is her season, and her role is to make the grain, vegetables and trees bloom so that Autumn’s harvests are abundant.
Flora is depicted throughout history wearing wreaths of flowers in her hair and covered in garlands of flowers as she moves through the cycles of nature and the changing of the seasons.
