About the artwork:

Origins (Woven Landscape)

Exhibited in Origins – Landscapes of Queenstown by Mandy Hunniford as part The Unconformity Festival, Queenstown in 2021.

Under the impressive rock formation of Mt. Owen (also known as Our Lady of the West) lies the woven landscape of Queenstown. The painterly layers of copper, gold, green and brown signify the sources of Queenstown’s origins, heritage and landscape.

About the Queenstown collection:

The Queenstown collection presents a combination of themes: its beautiful, unique but contested landscape, the complex histories of an arts/wilderness/mining town and the closeness and connections of its community.

About the print on canvas:

Each canvas is hand-stretched over a kiln-dried timber frame and coated with Aquathane-UV liquid laminate. This ensures the prints are fade-resistant, durable, and easy to clean. Print comes on premium archival canvas and printed with genuine Canon inks to guarantee the prints are made to the highest standard.

Please note – actual size may vary, size indicates maximum width or height (eg. portrait or landscape).
